Benchmark is free. It produces a PRELIMINARY ESTIMATE, not a quote. Every

## How an estimate is built

Each model resolves an effort band (base + additive scope modifiers), applies
multiplier factors such as target platform and payment gateway, then multiplies
through a rate tier to produce a dollar range. The PDF shows every line, so the
number is traceable rather than asserted.
